# About me

I am a PhD student in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge. I am also a member of the Cantab Capital Institute for the Mathematics of Information and of the Cambridge Image Analysis group.

Before this, I took Part III of the Mathematical Tripos in Cambridge and I studied mathematics and physics at the undergraduate level at the Radboud University in Nijmegen.

I am broadly interested in applied mathematics, but my focus is on combining ideas from machine learning with ideas from mathematical image processing, for instance in the form of bilevel learning.

In the academic year 2018-2019, I am the president of the SIAM-IMA Cambridge Student Chapter.
